ACE Trio

The Trio comprises piano/keyboard, banjo/bass with sax or trumpet as required.

This arrangement lends itself to smaller more intimate occasions, where we specialise in providing the "right" sound for your individual party.

 

ACE Foot-Tappers Jazz Band

A 4, 5 or 6 piece traditional jazz band featuring well-known and loved standards (e.g.. Down by The Riverside, My Blue Heaven, When the Saints go Marching in, etc.)

True to the name, we get your feet tapping to those New Orleans rhythms, performing at private gigs and fund raising and "fun" events. We have entertained audiences at events across the South of England.

Our line up is led by Anthony Powell (piano/keyboard) and Chris Garratt (saxophone and vocals), with Everyone else (a variety of skilled musicians).



Blue Lagoon Dance Band

Add a touch of elegant nostalgia to that special occasion with this 5 or 6 piece Dance Band featuring music from the 1920's and 30's.

Dine and dance to smooth romantic melodies, swinging Latin and roaring 20's hot jazz with two saxophones, trumpet, piano/keyboard, bass and drums, and the deep velvet voice of crooner Red Sayles.

We have performed in country house marquees, stately homes and hotels (most recently at the Imperial Hotel in Torquay, Torbay Yacht Club and Royal Dart Yacht Club), recreating the sweet sounds of the Wodehouse/Dance Band era.
